Cariboo — Car Management
Car management, simplified.
/ Overview
Cariboo is an offline-first Android app for everything that comes with owning a car: fuel, expenses, maintenance and paperwork, for one car or a whole household's.
I built it end to end, from the first screen to the Play Store release, with Claude Code as my coding agent and Jetpack Compose, Material 3 and Clean Architecture underneath. Releases are automated too: a single GitHub Actions run bumps the version, builds a signed APK and publishes the release. It's available in English and Greek.

Fuel tracking
Log refills with cost, litres and odometer. Consumption (L/100km) and price per litre are calculated automatically, with optional GPS location.
Expenses & services
Track services, repairs, insurance, parking, tolls and your own categories, with full history and filters.
Service reminders
Date or mileage reminders that notify you a day before the due date or within 500 km of the target.
Statistics & charts
Interactive charts for cost, distance, consumption and refills, plus year-to-year and car-to-car comparisons.
Forecasts & insights
Forecasts fuel cost per km and efficiency with Holt's linear smoothing, and flags unusual expenses.
Voice entry
Add a refill just by saying it. Speech is turned into structured data with OpenAI GPT.
Multiple cars & documents
Keep insurance, inspection (KTEO) and tyre details for every car, and attach PDFs or photos to each one.
Widgets, backup & themes
Home-screen widgets for quick entry, JSON and Excel/CSV import/export, and 30+ colour palettes.
